Think about what you want for your next birthday... A few months ago I may have answered some summer clothes and it would mark only a few weeks to go of my PGCE. I definitely did not think I would be getting a nice shiny bald head, thrown in with a mixture of chemotherapy drugs. 

Having been diagnosed with Breast Cancer on Valentine's day I am now 2 operations and 1 of 6 cycles of chemotherapy down. That is why in mark of my 26th birthday, before it falls out of its own accord, I will be shaving my hair off to raise awareness of Breast Cancer in young people. 

All money raised goes to The Breast Centre Cardiff, where I was diagnosed and continue to be treated. The team here are amazing and I was armed with my very own Breast nurse who provides me with continuous support and my surgeon who fitted me in quickly and was happy when she could finally give me a little bit of good news.

So please dig deep and donate anything you can, I know it will be appreciated and any money raised will go a long way in helping others in their fight against Breast Cancer.
