This Summer I am hoping to go to Nepal with RAG (Raising And Giving). We are planning to do a trek to Everest Base Camp in aid of the charity 'Moving Mountains'. In order to go we each need to raise £1000 for 'Moving Mountains' which is a hek of a lot of money that I really need your help with!
I am doing the Bath half marathon next March and would reeeeeally appreciate any donations that you can spare, anything big or small would be very very gratefully recieved =).
Moving Mountains is a charity based in Ireland which works mostly in Kenya and Nepal, helping street children and their families with education, health and welfare, building and promoting environmentally and economically sustainable projects, and providing much-needed employment and income for a wide range of people caught in the poverty trap. Moving Mountains is also a registered NGO in Kenya where they employ many Kenyan people to carry out the operations of the charity. They also support other charitable organisations and institutions financially which share our objectives, such as SETU in Nepal (helping reunite women prisoners with their children and providing them with skills), and a hospital in Bilma, Niger.
I'm really really excited about this trip so please dig deep and give me a hand raising this money... it's for a very good cause!
