I have decided to do this challenge to raise money for the Prostate Cancer UK charity, who state that:

"Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK and tragically 10,000 men a year die from it. The Prostate Cancer Charity provides vital support for anyone affected by prostate cancer, including diagnosed men, their families and friends. We also fund vital research and campaign to improve the lives of men affected by prostate cancer"

Every year 10,000 men die of prostate cancer. I aim to raise money for, and awareness of this cause by running, walking and cycling 10,000km.

My plan is to run 10k, walk 10k and cycle 10k all on the same day, which will be 03/03/2013. (The 10k run will be the St David's Day 10k) I had planned to do the Cardiff 10k, but injury has prevented me being ready in time!

This is a cancer that has personally affected my family and friends, and I'd be very grateful if you could donate what you can to this cause.

This is a great motivation for me to try and re-gain previous fitness that I have lost due to injuries, but more importantly to raise money for a great charity.
