Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
PSDS is an amazing charity that was set up several years ago to help support children with down syndrome and their families. I have seen first hand the amazing work they do and I hope that this challenge, with your support, will provide them with some much needed funds.
So what is the challenge?
On the weekend of 19/20 September I will be attempting to cycle the South Downs Way on my mountain bike. Here are some of the hard facts of the challenge faced.
Total Distance: 160km
Total Climb Height: 3000m (2/3 up Mont Blanc)
Estimated average speed: 12 kmph
Estimated riding time to complete: 14-16 hours.
It is the steep climbs on this ride that make it difficult, not the distance. Although I have been training all summer I will have very stiff legs and a sore bum! So please, please, give what you can big or small to this worthy cause. I will personally donate 50p for every pound raised- so, go on, be generous.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you.
