Dear Everyone,

It is now two years since my last challenge, ‘the Three Peaks Challenge’ in July 2009, when you all helped me to raise over £1,600 for 'Make a Wish Foundation UK'..  Before the legs get much older I have decided to do another challenge and hopefully raise more money for this worthy charity.  I have decided to take to my bike this time, instead of walking, and intend to cycle from Combe Gibbet, Berkshire, UK, to Paris, France, in 3 days, with my son, Tom.

It is still very important to raise money for ‘Make a Wish Foundation UK’ and we will both be trying to raise as much money as possible whilst cycling the 230 miles to Paris.  We start on Friday 29 April 2011 and finish at the Eiffel Tower, Paris, on Sunday 1 May 2011.

Make-A-Wish Foundation ® UK grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. Make-A-Wish has no cures to offer and all too often some endings are sad but, during desperate times when there seems to be no hope, Make-A-Wish steps in and provides positive and uplifting relief. Most of all, a wish granted brings a time of magic and joy for the special children and families.

So, once again I ask you to please dig deep into your wallets, handbags, pockets, and under the mattress, and sponsor Tom and I, so we can make this challenge really worthwhile and make as much money as possible for this very important cause – making dreams come true for very sick children.

Thank you in appreciation for any support you can give however small, it all helps …….

Donating through ‘Justgiving’ is quick, easy and totally secure.  It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me.  Make-A-Wish Foundation UK gets yous money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Richard and Tom Stock
