After several bottles of wine and in a moment of weakness, it would seem that I foolishly agreed to cycle from somewhere in Cheshire to Abersoch to raise money for Bolton Lads and Girls Club – oh dear!

I’m counting on you to take pity on me, dig deep into your pockets and chuck a few sheckles my way - if only because it’s the one time that I’m likely to be seen sporting tightly fitting spandex.
