Story
We are a group of weald students aiming to raise money to fund the building of classrooms in kenya. On July 17th a group of 50 students from The Weald School, Billinghurst, will be travelling to Kenya to build and improve classrooms for Kenya children with the hope of improve the qualilty and level of their education.
We are tackling one of the longest and most gruelling rivers in the United Kingdom in order to raise money for the building materials. From August 17th we will be kayaking from the source to the mouth of the River Exe (Devon's main river, Rising on Exmoor, that flows south for more than 60 miles, through Tiverton and Exeter and into the sea at Exmouth). Camping on the banks of the river for 3 nights, we are aiming to travel the distance in 4 days.
Please sponsor us as any money donated will directly fund the building of classrooms that are in dire need. Any support would be greatly appreciated
