I've have been at Allstate Northern Ireland here in Strabane, for almost 7 years.

Used to work in the in the Training and Development department and now, I currently work in Underwriting Calculation for Allstate Financial.

Having been a sporty type for most of my life, I have always been fit and healthy. Riding to and from both college and work in rain, snow and storm, was the norm for me. When I had a serious sports injury a couple of years ago, things changed. It was a long and difficult road to recovery and although I was given every opportunity to heal and recover, my health was not the same. I struggled to manage my health and weight.

For most of my adult life I have been around 13 St/182 lbs/83 Kgs. I am currently 17 St/238 lbs/108 Kgs. My aim is to get back to that weight and healthy state.

I will be writing a blog on my journey and documenting my experience and any hints and tips for others on a similar journey.
