Following the recent experiences of The Household Cavalry in Afghanistan, this fund has been set up to provide financial support to injured soldiers and their families to provide financial assistance to injured soldiers and their families that the Armed Forces and NHS cannot.

My story

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far. It is very much appreciated.

The run is this Sunday and I am slightly injured from running the 13 miles around three weeks ago but will grin and bear it thanks to the wonderful support that I have received from everyone's donations to such a worthy cause.

I have the promise of atleast 5 pints waiting for me at the end now! That should get me through 10 miles atleast before the blisters kick in!

All donations will be forwarded to this fund to aid and support families who have suffered the tragic loss of a loved one or who require the support and assistance to look after those that are severly wounded while on duty.
