My story

After years of failed promises i've finally grown a pair and entered the 2012 London Marathon!

Probably would have been better to do this 5yrs ago, but after knee and back operations over the last 12months, now just seemed like an obvious time...anyway, if Chris Coxall can do it after a night on the lash, ANYONE can!

I'm running for Power International - they raise funds for people with disabilities who live in poverty stricken parts Mozambique, Zambia and Laos - its something that people generally overlook - there are well publicised drives to sponsor those in poverty abroad and those with disabilities at home - but those who have it twice as tough are often overlooked.

I'd obviously love it if you sponsored me - it truly is a great cause!

As you can see from my picture I have a long-history of distance running - I came second in inter-house cross country in Year 7 I'll have you know!

Wish me luck, i'll definitely need it...the next 3months are going to be very tough!

...and finally....if the marathon ruins me i'm off to Laos to get treated with all your kind donations!

** I've HAD to change my target, because various, heartless, nameless, so-called friends of mine kept saying...."but you've hit your target, I dont need to sponsor you" - yeah, because that's the way charity works....!!!! **

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
