Hi I am running this years Bupa great Birmingham run to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.  For those of you that know me know how special and important my family are to me , none more so than my late Granda Robert (bobby) Wallace who sadly passed away last year after a long battle with Lymphoma.  He never complained, never felt sorry for himself, he just got on with life and went about as normal making others laugh and smile.  I want to raise as much as possible for this truly great man as I wouldn't be the person I am today without him (wiping away the tears as I write this) please find it in your hearts to donate as much or as little as you can to help me reach and smash my target. Again those that know me know that fitness is not something that comes easy to me so to enter a half marathon is crazy talk!,, but if my granda could battle that horrible disease with a smile on his face and not once complain then I'm damn sure I can run 13 miles to honour him.
