1.4 billion people around the world live on just £1 a day. What is that like?

The idea is this: For Lent this year I am going to be ‘living’ on just £1/day. In other words, my food budget for the whole of Lent (46 days this year) will be just £46. Sounds easy? It won’t be!!! Basically you have to live off rice and vegetables and not much else! In doing so, I hope to raise awareness and raise money for a good charity (World Vision) who are working towards alleviating this global problem.
