Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 6th December 2009 i will be running the Grim Challenge to raise money for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

The Grim Challenge is an 8 mile cross country run through an army vehicle testing ground crossing hills, sand banks, through lakes and under netting. More info on the challenge can be seen on their website where you can find photos and videos of previous years: http://www.grimchallenge.co.uk/grim-original/

All donations will go towards the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (charity no.1110501). Their website can be found at http://www.seashepherd.org/. This conservation group works proactively to document, publicise and intervene against illegal activities in the worlds oceans and the exploitation of marine species.

They have been pivotal in publicising and intervening against Japanese whaling in the Southern Ocean, the Canadian harp seal hunt, the slaughter of dolphins by Japanese fishermen and world wide shark finning, work against which is all ongoing.

Current campaigns and projects can be seen at http://www.seashepherd.org/campaigns/.

Your donations will go towards helping the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society continue their important work so please give as much as you can. Thanks
