Story
In August 1985 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease, a cancer of the lymph system, unfortunately at that time I also had Glandular fever which confused the diagnosis. Things looked very bad and I was told I had a serious condition.
I was asked if I had any questions and did I know what the condition was.
To my point
I am running to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support – http://www.macmillan.org.uk/Home.aspx an organisation many of us have heard of but perhaps don’t stop to think about the vital service they provide for those who are hurting – not just the patients but the carer, the partner, the son or daughter, the mother or father, or friend.
I dedicate this challenge to Macmillan Cancer Support and seek your support – What ever you can do to support, any donation (see the button below), a kind word of encouragement, an email spreading the message to a friend all of this can help.
Please support Macmillan Cancer Support and
Thank you for your time.
