Bob Goes to Nursery!
I’ve been talked into - sorry happily volunteered - to spend a day working in my daughter’s nursery on November 17th.
The good news is that it’s a 10 minute walk away from home, the bad news is that it’s 10 hours looking after 15 little treasures aged 2 to 4. Apart from backache from sitting on tiny furniture and going a whole day without swearing, I’m sure it will be a wonderful experience. If nothing else, I’ll appreciate being back in work on Wednesday.
On a serious note, I’m doing it to raise some cash for Kids Company http://www.kidsco.org.uk/our-work and to highlight the point that a lot of these kids don’t see enough of their Dad's or other male role models (I’ll do apparently!).
