Hello and welcome to my webpage.   The Tanzania Project is run by the BUOTC (Birmingham University Officer Training Corps)  but supported by the NGO Islamic Help. The aim of the project is to prevent the spread of Cholera on Mafia Island on the coast on Tanzania. This is going to be done by building wells which supply fresh drinking water to surrounding areas. 
Each member has to gather 2000 pounds through fund raising to be able to fund the project.  In order to reach this amount,  the project members, including myself, are going to do the Rowing the Channel Challange,  Celebrate Ramdan, have a Charity BBQ  as well as other fund raising projects.    The project also aims to work in the community to try and earn fundings through various methods, such as shopping bag collection, street collecting and  through the contribution from different societies and organizations.  Please be generous and donate money towards this project to make life better for others.
