Laurence and I have decided to take another old banger on a road trip once again in support of Naomi House Children's Hospice.
Two years ago we took a £100 mini-metro top Prague and back and managed to gather over £1600 for the same charity.
This year we have a white-ish Peugeot, which we are driving to Rome and back. Thats just over 2800 miles in 6 days.
If you dont already know, naomi House is a hospice for children up to 18 years of age who are facing limited-lives. It looks after them, gives them a place to stay on sort of holidays and of course allows their families to have a break too. It is a truly inspirational place.
Laurence and I are hoping in the short time we have to raise £500 for them and as well as giving Naomi House additional means to continue their work, any donations will help Laurence and I maintain a minimum sense of humour for the six days. if its anything like the last trip, lots of things tend to go horribly wrong !
