My story
Thank you for visiting my Just Giving Page. I have been given the opportunity to compete in what is known as "The Toughest Foot Race on Earth", the Marathon Des Sables. 150 miles across the Sahara Desert, over 6 days in temperatures of up to 50 degrees, carrying all your food, water and sleeping gear. I would like to use this opportunity to raise money for a great charity called The Pilgrim Bandits who rehabilitate amputees and wounded soldiers. http://www.pilgrimbandits.com/ I am very familiar with the great work these guys do and unlike a large charity with onerous admin costs, all the money you donate goes straight to the people who need it so I am asking you to please give generously. This means a great deal. Thank you very much.
