The Myelin Project is a non-profit charity, which funds research to find treatment and cures for demyelinating diseases, such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and the Leukodystrophies. These are devastating illnesses that affect both adults and children, there are no known cures for these diseases. All money raised goes direct to research.

My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

There are very special individuals in my life that are afflicted with muscular dystrophy. I have hereby dedicated myself to undertaking this half marathon and I will be donating all funds raised to this charity. The pain I will endure taking part in this marathon is imcoparable to the pain victims of this disease endure incessantly. Therefore I am endeavouring to do it as fast as I can to ease their pain as funds raised will be used to further research to find a cure for this disease.
