I had planned to run (or rather plod round!) the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London on 11 October for fun with no pressure. However, today I received an appeal letter from an old friend (and comrade) on behalf of the Zimbabwe Association, a small organisation supporting Zimbabwean refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. I couldn’t ignore this letter so I have impulsively decided to raise some desperately needed cash for them!

The Zimbabwe Association is struggling to survive working in small cramped offices on a shoe string budget. They need to raise £10,000 in the next few weeks so they can keep providing their vital services to those Zimbabweans in need in the UK. Please be generous in your support. Thank you!
