While most people enjoy Christmas with their families and loved ones, for these children it can be the loneliest time of year. At Christmas we want all these children to know people are thinking of them and that there are people that care.
We run a Christmas appeal every year and we raise £2000.00 so that every child we work with in the orphanages and local children’s hospital in receives a Christmas present and the knowledge that people do think about them and do still care. This year there are over 197 children we work with who need to know they are loved.
When we first visited Romania in April 1999, a young man living in the orphanage that was in Siret (it has since closed) said "we have no hope and nothing to hope for". It wasn't said for effect, it was a fact. These children have told us they now have hope, hope for their futures. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
