This year I have signed up to do the Worth Unlimited, annual bike ride. Cycling with young people, volunteers, and supporters across the back bone of Britain...
This year’s ride challenge is Coast to Coast – Whitehaven to Sunderland - 140 miles on push bike!
This will be my first year doing the bike ride and the challenge is a fantastic opportunity for us to raise money for our valuable work. Last year, under Worth Unlimited, I set up a Social Enterprise called Sure Maintenance, this is a youth project which works with young people in teaching them basic DIY, Gardening and Painting and Decorating.
In this time Sure Maintenance worked in over 36 homes, Gardens and offices and this year the project is continuing to work with Young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and also those with additional needs including Aspersers and Autism under our Partnership with Signpost Inclusion.
The money raised by my sponsors will help with the valuable work that Worth Unlimited and Sure Maintenance have started in North Solihull.
