The Brendoncare Foundation is a charitable organisation with staff and and volunteers, all dedicated to making a difference to the lives of older people in our care centres and clubs. This dedication runs right the way through the organisation, from top to bottom and the commitment at all levels is unstinting. I feel privileged to be working with such an amazing bunch of people.
As a charity, we rely on the generosity of others to help fund our work. So here I am – ready to walk over hot coals for the cause on 7 November, pen poised over a disclaimer in case I get burnt and asking you please to dig deep in your pockets and sponsor me because it is for a truly excellent cause.
