Hello, and thanks for visting my page.
I did it!!
But I need a little more help to reach my fundraising target.
On Sunday the 24th of July, I completed the Warminster Sprint Triathlon. It was a 400metre swim followed by a 22km cycle followed by a 5km run. I completed the course in 1hr and 43mins.
Any of you who know me well will know that I am not a natural sportswoman. However, I had been wanting to show my appreciation to Body and Soul for some time, and I thought by doing something truly against my nature like this I would not only get more people to sponsor me, but would get fit in the process!
Body and Soul is an inspiring charity. I was lucky enough to work with them last year, and the support they offer to young people and families affected by HIV is outstanding. At their base in London they have created an open and inviting space where every visitor is welcomed and invited to become part of the Body and Soul family: A community which offers opportunity, encouragement and acceptance to people who are forced to manage the stigma of HIV on a daily basis.
We are still living in a world where HIV is widely misunderstood and is met with fear and negativity. In the midst of this, Body and Soul is a haven of peace, love and hope for those living with the virus.

Donations are still welcome to help me reach my fundraising target of £1,500!!
This is an ambitious amount of money, but I believe that with your help I can do it. Please consider donating £10 or more plus gift aid.
Many Thanks
Rosie
