Story

Dear all - Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me this far!! The run yesterday was incredible! Big thank you to Natalie and Jenny for running with me! We all got incredibly filthy trapsing through waist high bogs and cold ditch water but with giggles and laughter all the way. Take a look at the piccies I've attached. The obstacles included several cross country jumps (minus the horse!) and numerous bogs....luckily we all finished with both shoes on (unlike some poor people!). There were straw bales to climb up and towards the final ascent we got a (muddy) handful of jellybabies to help keep morale up in the freezing rain. We finished with a slippy-slide we got to whizz down and I made the classic faux-pas where I got too excited, slipped up and whizzed down on my bum, to then turn on my tummy and fly down, landing in a muddy heap at the bottom! It was a great day out in aid of a great charity. It's not too late to donate! Thanks soo much to everyone for your support! Much love xx

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As some of you are aware I work as an Audiologist and humanitarian work is something that is very close to my heart. An opportunity to volunteer in a temporary Ear Camp in a very remote part of Nepal (only accessible by plane or a week's walk!) came my way and I leaped at the chance.

The INF is a charity which has spent the last 60 years as an NGO helping people affected by many illness throughout Nepal. Temporary medical camps (such as the one I will be attending) have been set up to get healthcare to people in remote areas.
