I am a member of the community choir The Cotswold Voices. In December last year my wonderful friend, and fellow choir member, Jeanie (Weenie) passed away after a battle with cancer. She was hugely loved by all in the choir and I wanted to organise an event in her memory.

I thought it would be a good idea to do a sponsored singathon, to be held in the Brunel Shopping Centre, Swindon on May 9th. This will entail singing for 6 hours (quite a feat as I get out of breath after just one song!!). 

I would love to raise a huge amount of money for Prospect Hospice which is where Jeanie spent her last few days. The care and support the staff and volunteers showed her and her family was invaluable and I'd like to give something back.

If you have a few pounds to spare please donate to a brilliant cause and we'd love to see as many people as possible at the event itself on the 9th, so please do come along if you are able.
