I am asking you just to stop for a minute and imagine what the impact type 1 diabetes has on a child and their parents.  It is relentless, diabetes never rests, it is 24/7 and requires a lot of responsibility, commitment and dedication.

My son Eddie and I know just how difficult this disease is to juggle and control, we have been on the roller coaster ride since 2000.  Many things have changed, for the better but we are still waiting for a cure.  It is now in sight more than ever before.  Vital funds are needed.
