My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am aiming to run the Bristol Half marathon on the 30th September 2012 to put myself through a small challenge in comparison to what some children and their families have to go through if they suffer from cancer.
As a nurse I've looked after many people with cancer throughout my career, and that has always been tough. To look after children through it, would be a huge task, so these guys need all the help they can get.
Any donation no matter how small would be appreciated, as would passing this on to as many people as you can. Times are financially tough but i'm sure i know 400 people who have a spare pound kicking about, so what do you say? You get the satisfaction of sponsoring a real life Run, Fat boy, Run and doing some good too, win:win right?

Completed. 01:50:01 which i am so pleased about, aiming for sub 2hr so to get ten minutes off!!! The Clic Sargent team were the best pre and post race. So if they can look after me it seems only right we help them look after the people they help. Still time to send in coins
Completed a practice 13.1miles today, yes i know you aren't supposed to during training but i thought lets see if i can, and yes i can 1:59:40 in fact So far no blisters, aches or pains but then that's what tomorrow is for!!!
