Story

Latest update:September 20th: Well, I've done it. Got round in 2hrs 12 mins (on target) and still able to stand!

Thanks to everyone who has sponsored me. It's not too late to make a donation if you haven't got round to it yet.

Thanks for finding my JustGiving page! I'm raising money for RedR (Registered Engineers for Disaster Relief), which my company Cundall are a Patron for. Read about RedR's great work in the panel on the left of this page or visit their website www.redr.org.uk for more information.

Also, I needed a goal for getting fit after kidding myself for 10 years that I still was! So running a half marathon seemed like a good idea!

Please give generously. Somewhere around the world, even now, people are dealing with the aftermath of disasters (floods, earthquakes, famine, civil wars) and they need trained and skilled people to help provide basic infrastructure and relief (shelter, running water, security etc). You're donations will help send the right people with the right skills to these places.

Thanks

Matt
