Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My mum spent her last five weeks in Martlet s http://www.themartlets.org.uk/ getting superb care in her last days, making her comfortable. She sadly died 27 August 2009 with me present. The Hospice needs £8,000 a day to keep going. It gets just 27 % funding from the NHS, the rest comes from donations and fund raising events. Me and my dad are so grateful for the care my mum got and we just want to do as much as we can for them as a thank you for giving us some quality time with her.
I'm doing a 13 mile sponsored walk on Sunday 4th October at Noon from the Sussex County Cricket Ground (day after some of my pans people dancing at two friends wedding) so the bracing sea air will clear away any medicinal red wine from the previous day. It will be an emotional hard day for me following mum's death. This years event starts and finishes at the County Cricket Ground in Hove. A bracing walk along the seafront Saltdean Lido, then a return walk along the cliff tops. The link below gives further information.

I'd be grateful please for any pennies you can spare which I appreciate is at a difficult financial time for all. I'm aiming for £600.00, anything more would be a real bonus.
