So, Joe, Marc and I have decided to enter this years Rust2Rome Banger Rally. In a nutshell, the event involves buying a "banger" for less than £500 (including any preparation costs) and driving it more than 4500 miles across Europe to Rome, and back (hopefully!).

The rally officially starts in Edinburgh, however we will be setting sail on our voyage from Aberdeen. Armed with nothing more than a toolbox, a few cans of Irn-Bru and our trusty £390 Peugeot 306 (born and bred in Buckie), we hope to make it all the way there (and back), via the French Alps. We plan to do this in the name of fun whilst raising some funds for Finding Your Feet, a small Scottish charity aimed at helping those who have suffered a life changing trauma.
