Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

This is the first time I have run the London Marathon.

My mother is currently dying from stomach cancer. I chose to run for Macmillan when I experienced first hand the amazing support the Macmillan nurse provided to her.

The Macmillan nurse fought on my mother's behalf to ensure she received chemotherapy treatment after a stomach bypass operation. This enabled her to have three holidays with her family.

She now has only a short time remaining to live. But by supporting Macmillan you can ensure that other people can similarly benefit.

This site allows you to donate online, which you may find more convenient than sending cash or cheques. It allows allows Macmillan to claim tax relief  on your donation.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Relief will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
