Dear Friend
Me and a group of my out of shape friends (and one's wife) are running the Leicester Half Marathon on 11/10/2009 for Charity.
My little Boy Isaac who has just turned 17 months was diagnosed with Leukaemia in June this year. As you can imagine this was and still is a truly horrendous experience for myself, my wife Nikki and our other boy Joseph aged 9.
I was inspired by a couple of out of shape mates of mine who were determined to run this years Leicester Half Marathon for fun. I decided to join them to give us something to focus on and a good cause to run for.
One of the charities we are running for is the Leicester Hospitals Charity, specifically Ward 27 LRI Oncology Unit where Isaac is currently being treated for a rare type of Leukaemia (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia M7)
