Hey, I am raising funds for a Kenya Expedition next July - August 2011 for 4 weeks. It will be one of the most amazing but also challenging experiences of my life.
The aim of the expedition is to live and work amongst the village people in kenya agreeing on objectives with the community to enhance their way of life, protect their environment and conserve the local wildlife. I cannot wait to be in kenya, helping the children especially. I want to make sure they have the best 4 weeks they've ever had. I have confidence in myself as well as my friends whom I am going with, that we can improve their way of living by changing small things which will go a long way.
The things I am currently doing do raise funds are as follows:
1. My dad and I run a mobile disco. We have one coming up on the 10th July. All the money made doing this disco will go directly in to my kenya fund.
2. I am also doing a car boot sale with my mum on the 18th july
3. I have applied for two jobs so far and will keep on trying until I get one.
4. I am earning money at home, labouring for my dad as we build our conservatory.
