Myself, along with my 3 amazing/crazy friends have decided to participate in a 10,000ft tandem Skydive to raise awareness and funding for Target Ovarian Cancer in memory of my Mum, Lynne, who unfortunately passed away in July. Ovarian cancer is the fifth most common cancer in women in the UK. It usually affects women who have reached their menopause – about 85% of women diagnosed are over the age of 50, though it can occur in younger women.
