Please help me to reach my goal of £500

Last year on their first wedding anniversary my sister and brother-inlaw's 3 week old baby was rushed to the Peadiatric Intensive Care Unit at Southampton General hospital where he underwent emergency, life saving surgery on his tiny heart. In less than 24 hours Christopher-James had gone from a seemingly healthy baby to a baby whose heart was rapidly failing. Derriford hospital had the difficult task of maintaining his life whilst waiting for an ICU team to arrive to take him to Southampton. The team arrived after a 3 hour drive in an ambulance funded by Friends of PICU, they put CJ to sleep and took over his breathing to give his heart a much needed rest. His heart stopped twice in the process. Once the ICU team had stabilised him they packed him into a special incubator which was vital to protect him and keep him alive. All the equipment used was funded by Friends of PICU.They couldn't travel with CJ as there was no room for them and the ICU team in the ambulance. 4 hours later they arrived at Southampton thankful to see their baby had survived. They were told he was going to be operated on right away. They signed the forms and kissed him goodbye. They were then handed a key for a bedroom for them to stay in whilst CJ was under the care of ICU. They also had a kitchen available to them and a small seating area. Once again this was all funded by Fiends of PICU.After Christopher-James had his operation he made an amazingly quick recovery and was discharged a week later. We owe his life to the care of the staff and the life saving equipment provided by Friends of PICU. I need to raise at least £500 to be able to do the skydive. You need to be aware that a portion of the money raised will pay for the skydive itself. I am going to pay for as much as the dive as i can as i believe that Friends of PICU deserve every single penny possible. I am jumping with my sister and her husband so between us we should be able to raise over £1500 for The friends of PICUThank you soooo much for taking the time to read this. Every pound you can spare will be greatly appreciated. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
