On Saturday 26 May 2012 Members of the Swaledale Outdoor Club (SOC) will complete a 24hr Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge from Arnside on the West Coast to Whitby on the East Coast. A total of 122 miles.

SOC is a multi disciplined activities club.  Some cyclists will complete the whole distance.  Some will complete whatever distance is a challenge for them. One of our members is only 2 months from completing her cancer treatment and is going to cycle 50 miles! There is also a 20 mile walk from Castleton to Whitby.  One member is even going to swim part of the coast from Sandsend to Whitby!
