On New Years Eve, our friend John Stanford was involved in an accident, which has lead to him having operations to remove a blood clot on his brain and to remove a large part of his skull until the swelling has gone down. He suffered life threatening injuries, which remained only threatening, due to the fast response and action by a member of the Norwich SOS Bus (who are run by the OPEN Youth Trust).
This prompted us (Greg Lochhead, Rob Harper, Jordan Butler, Freddie Beckett, Dan Nichols, Michael Bates, Andy Marjoram, Dan Knevitt and Sam Spaul) to organise a 5 day charity bike ride from Norwich to Amsterdam and back (255 mile round trip), which will take place from the 7th July to 12th July. This we feel is an apt way to thank the SOS Bus team for their consistent help and support for not only our friend but the wider public in Norwich.
