THE SCOTTISH SOCIETY FOR AUTISM
Autism and Asperger Syndrome are lifelong conditions which isolate the child or adult from the world as we know it. This affects the ability to communicate, form relationships and understand everyday activities. The Society has been supporting people and families in Scotland affected by autism for over 40 years.
The aims of the Society are:
THE ADVENTURE...The Great Wall of China This challenge is one of physical toughness, cultural fascination and historical intrigue. For a country with the biggest population in the world China remains largely untouched by the West. This is an opportunity to discover it's hidden charms. It snakes across the mountains and stretches 6000km across for 7 days on the wall and will see over 150km of this 2000 year old symbol of ancient Something rare and an experience I hope will be unforgettable.
