I am running the Edinburgh Marathon on May 23rd 2010 to raise money for Alcohol Concern. Alcohol Concern is the national agency on alcohol misuse campaining for effective alcohol policy and improved services for those who's lives that are affected by alcohol related problems
My uncle Eustace Hunkins was found dead in his home on 29th August 2009 after years of suffering with alcoholism. Alcoholism is a common but often misunderstood disease. Alcoholics often become isolated from their friends and family and it can be difficult to help them to combat this disease.
Although it is too late to help my uncle I would like to raise money for Alcohol Concern in his memory to help others who suffer from alcoholism.
