The Hairdressing and Beauty Benevolent does a fantastic job helping those who have worked in the industry but who have fallen on hard times. They not only help with buying necessary items such as cookers and fridges but also help the children of those who are unable to work for one reason or another. The Charity often pay for holidays for terminally ill people to have some family time together or for house repairs to the elderly who cannot affort it. Paying for retraining to try and get hairdressers and beauticians back to work is another way the charity can help.
I am cycling across Vietnam and Cambodia to try and raise some money for this worthwhile charity and really hope to raise £600 for them. If you can help at all I'd be really grateful.
