Thank you for visiting my page.

This page has been made in memory of Samuel Childs, who sadly passed away on the 12th October 2011 at the young age of 11. Sam had a condition known as Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. He had been attending the Royal Brompton Hospital for treatment and this is going to be my place of donation. I first met Sam whilst working with him in his primary school and have many happy memories of working with him.

In August 2012 (start date to be confirmed) I shall be running from the Royal Brompton Hospital, London to Edinburgh Castle. This will be between 400-450 miles. I shall be running a marathon a day (26.2 miles) and be taking 1 day off each week, for a duration of roughly 2 to 3 weeks, depending on stoppages etc

I will be truly appreciative of anyone who would make a donation to this cause. The more money we can raise together, the better hope there is for children like Sam. It doesn't matter how little or how much you give, but just giving is the first step to helping others less fortuante than ourselves. So spread the word of this page, and start donating your pennies!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
