Virgin London Marathon 2012 · 22 April 2012 ·

People affected by prostate cancer need breakthrough treatments. Research is the only way to turn this hope into reality. Combining patient stories and scientific expertise, we fund projects that have a real impact, reducing side-effects, cutting treatment costs and ultimately improving outcomes.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know, but for those of you that don't, I am running the London Marathon 2012 in aid of the Prostate Cancer Research Centre.

This cause is extremely close to my heart as my dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer at the end of last year. You all know that my 'old man' means the world to me and after seeing the treatment he has received I couldn't think of worthier cause to run for!

The target I have aimed for is a fraction of what I would like to raise as my intention is to help fund further reaserch and increase people's awareness.

So get your money out you tight old gits and make sure you're all there on the day as I'm going to need your support!!

Just in case you are feeling extra generous, my best pal will be running right beside me (raising funds for the same cause!). His page can be found at http://www.justgiving.com/AdamKingshott. Please be as big-hearted as you can afford as the once-lazy-arse has learnt how to run and do us all proud!! Cheers Pal!

Thanks so much,

Sam
