The story is .....skiing this year for the first time since my accident made me realise just how lucky I have been. Other friends and close family may not have the same opportunities to do things they love because of illness or injury - so please, NO PRESENTS for my 40th but if you can find a few pounds or pence to help fund research, care and support for those less fortunate than us - I would be very grateful - thank you.
