Hi,
Well I cant believe I am actually going to do this but in April 2010 I am going to run the London Marathon, a life long ambition. So why now, well I want to raise as much money as I can for North Devon Hospice. The hospice is a local charity providing specialist care and support to those with life threatening illnesses and their families, completely free of charge. Every day it helps over 100local people cope with the impact of life- threatening illlness, supporting the patients and their families including children.
Every year the hospice needs over £3million to keep its essential services going thats nearly £58,000 a week and last year only 20% of the income came from the NHS, the rest is down to the generiosity of the North Devon public and you.
So hows my training going, honestly at the mo not that well I was up to running 3 or 4 times a week with a long run of 10 miles and then I became injured so have been resting the last couple of months, but now in December I am starting my training again and have manged a couple of four mile runs this week ( first week of Dec) and so am optimistic that I can get back on track.
Please help me raise as much as I can for the North Devon Hospice, I will work hard at my training but i can only make this a sucess with your help, so please help me raise as much sponsorship as I can.
Thank You xxxxxxxx
And dont forget to keep tracking back for a progress report .
Lots of Love , Sam xxxxx
