Samarathon - 25 mile walk 2013 · 15 December 2012

We are one of the oldest Samaritans branches in the country; we took our first call in 1963 and have been providing emotional support to people in Guildford, Woking and Waverley, and across the country ever since. Call us for free on 116 123.

Story

Sunday 30th June

As part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations for 2013, our fundraising challenge will be the Samarathon, a 25 mile walk starting and ending at Newlands Corner.  The walk will cover Surrey’s 3 peaks: Pitch Hill, Holmbury Hill and Leith Hill and teams of 4-6  will be walking through the day to raise funds for Guildford Samaritans.  If you'd like to take part further details can be found at our website: www.guildfordsamaritans.org.

If you are unable to join us please support us by donating at this page.

Each year Guildford Samaritans needs to raise £40,000 through fundraising activities to support the provision of this service to our local community.  The branch is run entirely by volunteers so any funds raised will go directly to maintaining the branch.

So please sponsor us now - we will be very grateful.
