You guessed – it’s me! I have joined the Women V Cancer cycle again! This time the challenge is to cycle 450km across South East Asia's most fascinating countries. My own little head is that 2015/16 with get me to a reasonable fitness! The challenge starts in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City and finishes at the world heritage site of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

This will be a journey full of fun, friendship and incredible support as women of all ages and from all walks of life challenge themselves for an amazing cause. This challenge is raising funds to help in the fight against breast, ovarian and cervical cancers. I need to raise the required minimum target of £3,200.00. This challenge is an opportunity for me to raise awareness and significant funds to help the fight against, ovarian, cervical and breast cancers.

Having had ovarian cancer in 2008, I understand very well how important it is for women to be aware of the symptoms [which are ridiculously easy to ignore] and how much it costs to fight this disease. The surgery and chemo alone cost a fortune - but the research costs even more. Without all these things, I would probably be dead.

So you can understand why I am up for raising money to help pay for it all can't you? There are so many women like me; given the shocking diagnosis of cancer -and I'd like to think that by raising awareness and funds for research, that maybe, I might save just one life...please help me do that? And the worst thing is that these cancers can affect anyone at all - mothers,daughters, sisters, wives...so your money will be well spent. 

Funds raised by Women V Cancer are divided equally between these three charities: 
Ovarian Cancer Action
Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust 
Breast Cancer Care
and used to support their valuable work.
