My story
Dear Friend
IRONMAN DISTANCE TRIATHLON FOR CHARITY
1st JULY 2012 NOTTINGHAM
2.4 MILE SWIM
112 MILE BIKE RIDE
26.2 MILE RUN (MARATHON)
I'M VERY PLEASED TO SAY THAT I COMPLETED THE CHALLENGE IN JUST OVER 15 HOURS!

I'm raising money for a very special charity called Breast Cancer Haven.
In 2008, just after adopting baby twin boys, my sister Paola was devastated by the diagnosis of breast cancer. She then had to endure months of bad news and extremely tough treatment which left her very depressed. She now has to live with the knowledge that she will never be clear of the disease which may recur at any time, but Breast Cancer Haven is the charity which helped her look forward to living life again.
Please help me now do my bit for this marvellous charity, which helps so many women pick up the pieces of their lives after this dreadful diagnosis.
Previous events include:
Paris Marathon: April 2011.
Lovely hot day to run around Paris with 40,000 others! It's a great way to see all the sights.... just a bit tiring! Am very very pleased I got round.
New Forest Half Ironman: September 2010

The Haven is the working name of Breast Cancer Haven. We are a national charity helping people through the experience of breast cancer. Havens offer a free programme of in-depth support to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by breast cancer. An outreach programme is also available.
