OUR CHARITY...
THE MICHAEL SOBELL HOUSE CHARITY
Michael Sobell House is a hospice based at Mount Venon Hospital in Northwood which is run solely on charitable contributions from the public and businesses. It is a non-profit foundation committed to providing support and practical help for patients and their families who are facing a life limiting-illness. Unfortunately these places are rare and often entirely dependent on charitable funding sources. These sources must reach an annual target of £1.2m to maintain patient care.
The Michael Sobell House (MSH) is special to us because it is here that our father spent his final days. We experienced only exceptional care and attention from the dedicated team of professionals who took care of every single detail. It is an extraordinary foundation which creates a tranquil environment for the patient as well as their family.
A key objective of this charity is to provide continuous high-quality palliative care and pain management. Their top priority is to preserve the highest possible quality of life for the patient.
This charity really makes a difference to patients lives and we hope that you will support this incredible cause.

OUR FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE...
MOUNT SNOWDON TREK – 21st APRIL 2012
Mount Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales at 3560ft (1085m) and the highest in the British Isles south of Scotland. To put this into context it is the height of 3.5 Shards placed on top of one another.
Nearly 10 years ago our father climbed to the top of this mountain in 3 hours flat, beating his grandchildren!
In his memory a group of us will be taking on the challenge to climb this summit to help us reach our target.
If you can, please help us to help Michael Sobell House continue their excellent work.
Kindest Regards,
The Vara, Majevadia, Mene Families
