So i'm running to raise money for elephants. Rather an unusual cause but I ask you what would be more ironic to try and run a ridiculously long distance for? Really that arse looks great on him but simply will not do for me =)
Seriously though, I got into this due to a friend but when you start to reseach it you find that the asian elephant has been on the endangered list for 20 years with numbers dropping seriously all the time. The people at the charity are really passionate and commited and i'm pleased to be running/crawling a half marathon for them.
The run is actually quite soon so this is rather late in the day but if your umming and ahhing about who to give charity to this month I'd love it if you could give something towards them. I in return will spend next Sunday dragging myself around London and then probably the 4 days afterwards limping around and complaining about it.
If your broke, I completely understand as I don't get paid much either =)
